Film photography

After not picking up a camera for a while following the pandemic, I stumbled upon a Yashica MG-1 in an antique store with my mom, who had practiced film photography in college. I spontaneously bought the film camera with her, slowly learned how to develop and scan on my own, and fell in love with photography all over again.
With film, I’ve learned to love its unpredictability. Its forced me to slow down - both technically and metaphorically - to curate each shot with care and purpose, knowing each photo will truly be an immutable moment in time.
